Import Snow Day/Delayed Start Info:
If FALA calls a snow day, this website will be updated by 7:00AM. Make sure to refresh your browser to make sure you're reading the latest information.
Here's a link to the newsletter sent to parents. This information was also mailed home.
FALA determines when to call a snow day independent of FUSD. We base our decision on the weather forecast given by the National Weather Service, road conditions, and snow removal efforts on our campus.
If FALA has not called a snow day, but roads in your neighborhood remain uncleared, we ask you to take your student's safety into consideration when determining whether he/she can safely travel to school.
For delayed start information, see our website. |

Simple Ways to Raise Money for FALA!

eScrip - This program raised nearly $1,000 for FALA in 2012! With your participation, we can raise even more in 2013!
This easy program allows you to connect your Safeway Club Card as well as your credit cards so that when you shop, you earn money for FALA. All you have to do is go to the eScrip website and connect your cards. It takes about two minutes! Remember to link the debit & credit cards that you typically use as well to help us raise even more money!

Albertsons Community Partners - Pick up one of our keytags & have it scanned each time you shop at Albertsons. They'll donate 1% of your grocery bill to FALA! In 2012, we received nearly $300 from Albertsons Community Partners!
Target Credit Card® and Target® Visa® Credit Card account holders can sign up for the Take Charge of Education program by calling 1-800-316-6142 or by visiting Target's website or an in-store kiosk. We're registered as "Flagstaff Arts Leadership Acad" and our
School ID is 112526 .
Support FALA's Dance Department! When you make a purchase through this website, FALA's dance department gets a portion of the sale. Look at all the Flagstaff restaurants who participate in the Restaurant.com gift card program. |

Congrats to FALA Theatre & Creative Writing teacher Mike Levin for being awarded one of four Olmstead Awards for Secondary Teachers.
Each year, Williams College seniors nominate high school teachers who played influential roles in their lives and their learning. A committee comprised of faculty, staff, and students chooses winners from among the nominees. Recipients of the award receive $3,000, and an additional $2,500 is given to each recipient’s school.
Mr. Levin was nominated by FALA Alum Molly Olguin for the role he played in her education while at FALA.
To read more about this award, visit the Williams College website or read the short news article which appeared in the Arizona Daily Sun.
