Congrats to 2013 FALA graduate Rachel Beck for the recognition of your talents and efforts in the May 30, 2013 edition of the Arizona Daily Sun.

Check this space daily to see if FALA is having a regularly scheduled school day, a snow day or a delayed start day.

FALA determines when to call a snow day independent of FUSD. We base our decision on the weather forecast given by the National Weather Service, road conditions, and snow removal efforts on our campus.

If FUSD makes any determination about the school day because of weather, FALA will alert you to our status in three ways: we will have daily updates here on ou website, we will ask KNAU to make an announcement about FALA's status and we will have a recording on our office phone by 7 a.m.

rIf FALA has not called a snow day, but roads in your neighborhood remain uncleared, we ask you to take your student's safety into consideration when determining whether he/she can safely travel to school.

For delayed start information, see our website.

FALA has earned an"A+ from the Arizona Department of Education. See ADE's website for additional information.
