At the Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy (FALA) we engage all students in a unique and meaningful high school education. Our fine and performing arts departments, including creative writing, dance, fine art, music, and theatre, offer a broad range of introductory and advanced electives. Our college preparatory academic curriculum, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses in math, science, English, fine arts, and music, allow all of our students to combine artistic expression with rigorous academic study.

The teachers at FALA are all creative and passionate educators and many are also practicing artists, writers, actors, musicians, dancers, and scientists. The wealth of knowledge and experiences that our teachers possess allows us to involve students in authentic learning experiences and to provide an exceptional high school course of study.

At FALA, we value our connections to the community, including our relationships with students, parents, alumni, and local Flagstaff organizations. Our Advisory Program and Service Learning Program challenge students to develop leadership abilities through help to others combined with self-reflection and critical thinking.
