We are delighted that you are interested in the Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy!

We encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter to get to know FALA.

Our open houses will be your first opportunity to obtain an admissions application packet. We strongly encourage all interested parents to attend an open house in order to receive important information about FALA and to get a feel for our school.

Admissions open houses will be held:

Wed., Feb. 22, 2012 for 7th & 8th grades

Wed., Feb. 29, 2012 for 9th through 12th grades

Both open houses will be held at 5:30pm at the Coconino Center for the Arts, 2300 N Fort Valley Road.

Our application deadline is Friday, March 23, 2012 at 3:00PM.

Subscribe to our newsletter and keep checking our website for additional details.

Admission to FALA will not be limited based on ethnicity, national origin, gender, income level, disabling condition, proficiency in the English language or athletic ability. Students will be admitted without discrimination in accordance with the rules that govern charter schools in the State of Arizona. Tuition fees are not charged for attending FALA.

FALA will give enrollment preference to returning students and their siblings. If, by the application deadline, the number of applicants for a grade level exceeds the number of openings available, students will be selected to fill these slots through an equitable selection process, such as a lottery and any remaining applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

FALA will admit all eligible students, subject to space availability, grades 7th through 12th, up to age 21, who submit a timely application.

Grade and course placement will be determined by thorough placement exams and by the Dean of Academy with consultation involving teachers, the parents/guardians, and the student. Immunization records, birth certificate and official transcripts from previous schools attended are required. If applicable, custody papers, psychological records, and special education records are also needed.
