Colorado Plateau Studies
Bio:
Rosemary Logan has taught Colorado Plateau Studies at FALA since 2007, bridging learning in the classroom with service-learning, museum education, and wilderness adventures with her students. During this time she was also the Youth Program Coordinator for the Museum of Northern Arizona where she was responsible for managing the garden program (a partner program with FALA), the discovery program (summer museum camp for all ages), and curriculum and youth exhibit development. Prior to Rosemary’s work at FALA and MNA she led Earlham College’s Southwest Field Studies semester program in northern Mexico and Arizona as well as developed sustainability education curriculum for the Bellows Foundation. She has taught environmental education at Camp Colton and The Arboretum at Flagstaff, as well as worked at Pine Forest Charter School as their Aftercare Director and third grade assistant. Most recently Rosemary had begun a PhD program in Education for Sustainability where she is applying her passion for sustainability and teaching at FALA by broadening her understanding of sustainability as well refining her curriculum development skills.
