Volunteer at FALA

FALA is blessed with a wealth of human talent and creativity. The faculty and staff welcome the active participation of all FALA parents. Your leadership can help us to reach new heights!

FALA needs your expertise and creative energy in order to pursue opportunities like grants, plan and execute projects, and raise money for our programs.

Your participation as a volunteer not only helps us to accomplish much-needed tasks, your efforts also help us to strengthen the community of FALA. Your ideas are always welcome and in the meantime, here are some ways that you can help:

• Be a phone bank volunteer. We'll give you a short list of other parents who want to volunteer and you'll help recruit when we have a volunteer need.
• Projects at your students' grade level
• Help us raise money for needed projects
• Helping us to reach out to artists and educators throughout our community-connect us with resources to enrich our programs
• Create a speakers bureau that can speak publicly about the excellence of FALA's programs-help us recruit students and obtain donations from the community
• Our big annual fundraiser, the FALA Gala is May 18, 2012. Get involved! We need volunteers to get auction items donated and help the day of the event.
